American Revolution
The American Revolution was the political and military struggle in which the thirteen American colonies broke free from British rule and established the United States of America as an independent nation. Fought between 1775 and 1783, it was driven by ideas of liberty, self-government, and the rights of citizens that changed the course of world history.
