Middle Ages

The Middle Ages was a period of European history that lasted from approximately 500 CE to 1500 CE. It was shaped by the feudal system, the power of the Catholic Church, and major conflicts such as the Crusades and the Hundred Years War. Devastating events like the Black Death also defined the period, killing millions and transforming European society.
